| Stephanie Carter | I began my spiritual journey in 2004.. Not
quite sure what enticed me, but I was curious about these “strange”
stores that sold tarot cards, crystals, divination tools, etc. So one
day I got up the nerve and went in. The feeling I got of peace and
tranquility when I entered my first metaphysical store felt like heaven
to me. I started buying books and reading about fairies and angels and
in reading these books I found all sorts of techniques that for me, a
mere ordinary human being, could use to increase my psychic ability.
This is what inspired me to want to open a store on the Westside was
that there isn’t anything like it there and I want to pass on the
knowledge that I have acquired. “Everybody is psychic, we just don’t
remember”. I do readings for others, but I also want to tell them that I
don’t feel anymore “special” or more “gifted” than anyone else in this
world. If I can help them to find their “gifts” again, then my life
purpose is being fulfilled. I am thankful for the inspiration, support
and guidance that I have received from Books & Beyond, White Light
Academy and ESPECIALLY Dare to Dream. The people in these stores have
given me the drive to facilitate people with another serene get-a-way
and to spread more light and love. |
